In this Tutorial, Subhashini Ramsingh teaches how to make a boat made out of gumpaste. Learning to make this boat will give an idea on how to make chairs, tables, sofa, bed and lot of other furniture using gumpaste. The same can be used on your cakes to complete a themed party cake which uses any of these elements.
Plan for the boat with the number of panels needed to fix the boat together.
Measure and make each of the panel using gumpaste and let it completely dry.
Stick the panels accordingly to get the boat stable.
Give texture to the panel to resemble a boat.
Dust the panels to give depth and make it realistic.
Create a stable structure which can be used to attach the boat on the cakes.
