Fondbites 11 Years Anniversary Celebration (ONLINE)

Fondbites School of Sugar Art turns 11 years old on the 4th of March 2023. In view of celebrating the Glorious Journey in a much bigger way, we from TEAM FONDBITES wanted to do more of what we love doing the most!!

The ONLINE event covers varied topics of interest in the LIVE, here is the schedule of the event –

Chocolate Orange Travel Cake
 
This is a perfect travel cake and you will be learning about the perfect chocolate orange mud cake and orange curd. The orange curd is then inserted in the middle of the cake and the entire cake is then covered with orange milk chocolate ganache. This whole arrangement will then be covered with an encasing toasted nuts infused chocolate layer. 

Elements of Cake:

1. Chocolate Orange Mud Cake

3. Chocolate Orange Ganache
4. Toasted Almonds Chocolate Pour

Air Brushing Technique on Cake

You will learn to choose an inspiration for airbrushing. Prepare the templates and airbrush the scenery on the cake using gradient and layering effects.

  • Choose inspiration for airbrushing.
  • Resize and cut out templates from the inspiration image.
  • Airbrush on the cake gives a gradient effect and the layering technique is used to build the scenery as in the inspiration image.
  • Paint using gel colours on the cake to finish making this stunning Air Brush on a Cake.
Buttercream Pointillism

Another interesting technique that is the Niche of Fondbites is Buttercream pointillism. In this lesson, students will learn to create a beautiful portrait on the cake using buttercream.

In this lesson, students will learn –

  • How to select an inspiration image and prepare the image to use for pointillism on the cake.
  • Finish making the beautiful pointillism cake as per the chosen inspiration.
